Cambridge

Welcome to...

Cambridge, Ontario

The City of Cambridge is comprised of smaller townships known as Galt, Preston, Hespeler & Blaire, that date all the way back to the late 1700/1800s & were amalgamated in 1973.  Each little township offers its own unique downtown core full of history, lined with quaint shops, cafes & restaurants, which attracts quite the thriving foodie scene. Much of its beauty stems from it being situated along the water, with both the Grand River & Speed River running through it & a multitude of parks & conservation areas surrounding the City.

Cambridge is considered to be part of the Tri-Cities which ties together Waterloo, Kitchener & Cambridge, with several main routes to get you where you need to go. Depending on where in the City that you live, the highway is likely anywhere from 2-10 minutes away, with the 401 running through it. You’re about 30 minutes outside of Kitchener-Waterloo & just over an hour away from Toronto – which is great for commuters who don’t want to live in a big city.
